Back in my days working in beauty I was constantly trying out new products, but since my career has now taken me down a different path, I got quite lazy with my beauty routines, and stuck to what I knew. I'd been seeing Beauty Pie pop up all over my Instagram feed for months and finally decided to give it a go, and never looked back.
The idea is that Beauty Pie cut out the middle man, reducing costs for the consumer. They focus on the ingredients with fuss-free (still pretty in my opinion) packaging, and have 'dupes' for a lot of cult products, plus a lot of ingredient-led products. With so many products on the site, it can be quite overwhelming if you're a new member, so I thought I'd round up some of my favourites...
Brightening Niacinimide Superdrops
I'll start with my favourite Beauty Pie product, I'm already on my third bottle of this and use it religiously as part of my nighttime skincare routine. I have quite problematic skin thats very prone to breakouts, and I've found that it's reacted extremely well to these drops, I barely get spots anymore and the overall appearance of my skin has been a lot brighter.
Superdose C C-Suite Rapid Action Power Brightener
Beauty Pie has a few Vitamin C options but I've found that these drops are by far the most effective on my skin. I have quite oily skin so I don't like to overload it with lots of heavy creams, so these drops are the perfect alternative. I've got a little discolouration on my skin from years of suffering through some quite extreme acne, and this seems to be helping to improve the appearance of those patches...they're still there but a lot easier to cover up with my concealer now.
Super Retinol High Dose Booster Treatment
I've been using Retinol for a few years now, more as a preventative measure than anything else. I'm only 28 so I can't speak to the anti-aging qualities of this product, but its been great for keeping my skin clearer and I'm hoping that its slowing down my wrinkles! As I said, I've been using retinol for years, and this product isn't for beginners. It has 3% encapsulated retinol so it packs a punch, you might want to start off mixing this in with your moisturiser or starting off with a lower strength retinol until your skin gets used to it.
Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream
During the day I tend to use a gel based moisturiser as my skin is fairly oily, but at night my skin craves something a little more thirst quenching, especially after the retinol. I've been loving this anti-aging moisturiser, its one of the few creams that doesn't block my pores and cause me to break out, and my skin always looks refreshed in the morning.
